Bij ROODE Boards wordt elk board op bestelling gemaakt in onze werkplaats in Nederland. We gebruiken high tech machines voor precisie en consistentie, maar elk board wordt nog steeds met de hand opgebouwd en uiteindelijk afgewerkt door… jou?
Voor de productie van onze boards zoeken we iemand die graag met zijn of haar handen werkt en het vak wil leren. Ervaring is niet nodig. Als je gemotiveerd bent en precies kunt werken, leren wij je de rest stap voor stap in de praktijk.
Je werkt mee aan het bouwen van onze boards van begin tot eind. Je werkt met materialen zoals hout, epoxy en carbon weefsels en leert hoe je iets maakt waar je echt trots op kunt zijn. Het werk is praktisch en vraagt aandacht. Veel handelingen komen terug en juist dan moet het elke keer kloppen.
We zoeken iemand die net begint en het leuk vindt om een vak echt te leren. Iemand die energie haalt uit maken, uit beter worden en uit het verfijnen van details.
We vinden het belangrijk dat je nauwkeurig werkt en oog hebt voor detail. Dat je praktisch bent ingesteld en de drive hebt om beter te worden. Affiniteit met boardsports is voor ons wel belangrijk. Je hoeft geen pro te zijn, maar je moet wel snappen wat we maken en daar feeling mee hebben.
Je komt terecht in een klein team waar je direct meewerkt en ziet wat je maakt. Je leert alles over het bouwen van high end boards en groeit mee naarmate je beter wordt. Kwaliteit staat altijd voorop, maar we werken ook naar een tempo toe waarin het proces steeds strakker wordt. Na jaren ontwikkelen zitten we nu in de overgang naar productie, en dat ga je van dichtbij meemaken.
En waait het goed, dan zijn wij de eersten die creatief gaan plannen zodat we het water op kunnen.

We’re looking for someone to join the production of our boards. Someone who likes working with their hands and wants to learn the craft. No experience needed. If you’re motivated and can work with precision, we’ll teach you the rest step by step.
You’ll be involved in building our boards from start to finish. You’ll work with materials like wood, epoxy and carbon fabrics, and learn how to make something you can genuinely be proud of. The work is hands-on and requires focus. Many steps repeat, and that’s exactly where it needs to be right every single time.
We’re looking for someone who’s just getting started and wants to really learn a craft. Someone who gets energy from making, improving, and refining details.
It’s important to us that you work accurately and have an eye for detail. That you’re practical, enjoy making things, and have the drive to get better. An affinity with boardsports is required. You don’t have to be a pro, but you should understand what we’re making and feel connected to it.
You’ll be part of a small team where you’re directly involved and can see the result of your work. You’ll learn everything about building high-end boards and grow as your skills develop. Quality always comes first, but we’re also moving towards a more structured and consistent production flow. After years of development, we’re now transitioning into production, and you’ll be part of that process.
And if the wind is good, we’re the first to reshuffle the day so we can get out on the water.
